JEFFREY LINDER, DC

CHIROPRACTOR

Jeffrey Linder, DC serves as the chief chiropractor at NY First chiropractic in East Meadow, New York. He manages spinal pain by correcting its primary cause: faulty body mechanics. After diagnosing the areas of poor mechanics that most likely cause the pain, he utilizes chiropractic, fascial manipulation, and corrective functional exercises to return your body to better form, which lessens the load and shear of the painful region. This decreases pain.

When conservative care is insufficient, he often orders advanced imaging studies and comanages with pain specialists, neurologists, orthopedists, and physical therapists. It does not matter whether the pain is recent or chronic or due to an athletic injury, auto accident, employment accident or repetitive-stress, he first triages to determine whether conservative chiropractic care is appropriate and safe and then immediately refers if warranted.

Dr. Linder has received a mini-fellowship in MRI Neuroradiology from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Science at the University of Buffalo.

Dr. Linder has also received training in advanced sports medicine techniques, such as Graston Technique and the Fascial Manipulation Technique.

His training and certification of the highly regarded Functional Movement Screen and Selective Functional Movement Assessment help him diagnose where the body’s faulty mechanics reside and offer a pathway of corrective exercises to correct the mechanical faults.

When these diagnostic methodologies are used in combination with chiropractic care, fascial manipulation and corrective exercises, the patients achieve their most effective results.
Dr. Linder graduated from the Life College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was the valedictorian of his class. He then served as the chief chiropractor of the New York Eye and Ear Facial Pain Clinic.

Dr. Linder was also a preferred chiropractor for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training. He currently serves as team provider for the New York Road Runners team. Dr. Linder often lectures and does presentations on topics including preventive chiropractic care, sports injuries, and nutrition.

Your First Visit

Bio-mechanical faults can be classified into four categories:

  1. Poor joint alignment
  2. Poor joint mobility
  3. Poor stability hindering movement
  4. Poor breathing pattern

The purpose of the first visit is to accurately diagnose the bio-mechanical faults that are causing you pain or causing poor athletic movement patterns.

We use multiple methods to diagnose your bio-mechanical faults.

We digitize your posture, use the widely recognized Selective Functional Movement Assessment, chiropractic analysis, and Stecco Fascial Manipulation analysis to identify your mechanical faults and determine how your spinal and/or body movements contribute to your pain or poor athletic performance.

Once the faults are identified, we formulate a program including chiropractic, therapeutic exercise and fascial manipulation to reduce your mechanical faults and reduce the pressure and strain on your joints, muscles, tendons, fascia, ligaments and nerves.
